Senior Research Officer

Position overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Research Officer to join our dynamic team within the AUGP. Based at The Canberra Hospital, you will support a significant research project exploring the factors influencing prevocational doctors to pursue General Practice as a specialty.

This part-time (0.2FTE), fixed-term position (until the end of 2025) is ideal for a candidate with strong research skills, including data analysis, research design, and stakeholder engagement. Working with autonomy under broad direction, you will contribute meaningfully to the development of general practice policy and medical education in the ACT and nationally.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, and passionate about primary care research, with the ability to work collaboratively in a supportive, research-focused environment.
