The Position

The ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy is seeking a dedicated and adaptable professional to take on the role of Education Support Officer. This position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the College’s large and diverse undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs, which span online, blended, on-campus, and intensive modes.

Working closely with academic staff, the Education Support Officer provides high-quality support to ensure consistent standards of teaching and learning, and a positive student experience across all modes of delivery. Experience with both Curriculum Management and Learning Management Systems will be an advantage.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be an organised and service-focused professional with experience supporting teaching and learning activities in a tertiary environment. They will demonstrate strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support academic staff and students across a range of delivery modes.

Success in the role requires effective communication, sound judgement, and the capacity to manage competing priorities. A collaborative approach, commitment to student experience, and dedication to maintaining high standards in education support will be essential.

 

The School/Department

The position sits within the Student and Education Support team at the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy. This team supports the College’s teaching mission by providing high-quality services and fostering a positive student experience. The Education Support Officer plays an important role in supporting academic staff, coordinating course delivery, and contributing to the effective operation of undergraduate and postgraduate programs through both the Curriculum Management and Learning Management Systems.
