This role is for a theoretical physicist with experience in modelling dynamics in many-body quantum systems. The researcher will perform theoretical and numerical modelling of the Vortex Matterwave Gyroscope experiment, taking place at ANU in the quantum sensors group. The researcher will also participate in general research activities in the research group of Dr Simon Haine and Prof Joseph Hope, including attending group meetings, and supervising students. The researcher will help contribute future research directions to the group.
The research will take place in the Department of Quantum Science and Technology, within the Research School of Physics.
