Salary package: $93,646- $107,795 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position Overview

The Residential Finance Team is responsible for managing the financial operations of the University’s student accommodation, which comprises around 13 residences with a combined total of around 6,500 beds. The team functions within the ANU Finance & Business Services division, working closely with the Residential Experience Division and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and reports, adhere to financial compliance, and enhance processes for better financial controls and efficiency.

The Management Accountant works closely with other members of the Residential Finance Team providing high-quality financial advice and services, including budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, reporting, ensuring compliance, assisting internal controls, and playing a crucial role in delivering timely information to Hall Staff, Divisional Management, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate must be willing to learn new processes and systems, demonstrate strong accounting and reporting skills, collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, and actively contribute to achieving team objectives.
