Classification: ANU Officer 5 (Administration)
Salary package: $83,351 - $90,926 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time (Continuing Contingent Funded), funded until 31 December 2025
Position Overview
The Centre for Indigenous Policy Research (CIPR) in POLIS: The Centre for Social Policy Research invites applications for an administration officer to support the successful delivery of the Improving On-Country Education project. The administration officer will provide administration support to the research team and will organise fieldwork and meetings in 4 remote communities in the Northern Territory and South Australia. They will act as the first point of contact for the project, including responding to enquiries, engaging with stakeholders, and drafting general correspondence as requested. They will also work closely with the Centre's administrative team providing support to a variety of stakeholders including staff, students and visitors.

CIPR is Australia’s pre-eminent social science research body focussing on First Nations social and economic policy. CIPR is part of POLIS, the ANU Centre for Social Policy research in the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS). POLIS is home to six other research centres, enabling CIPR to work across disciplines and sectors, including government, community, business and education. This interdisciplinary and collaborative space enables CIPR to address and make a difference in the challenges of today’s society.
