Public policy scholarship at Crawford School is characterized by high quality, policy-relevant research across a range of disciplines.

The Development Policy Centre (Devpol) is a research centre within the Crawford School of Public Policy with a focus on Australian aid, the Pacific and PNG, and global development policy.

 

The Position

The Research Advisor works closely with the Centre’s Director as part of the research team, contributing to the design and implementation of research as part of the ANU-UPNG Partnership and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders. The Research Advisor provides high level quantitative data analysis and policy analysis to write and produce research articles and blogs, including coordinating support aspects of allocated research activities. This position may be required to supervise and mentor junior staff and interns, and collaborate with UPNG colleagues.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with expertise and/or interest in PNG and Pacific economies. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in project management and who is keen to work as part of a diverse research team.
