Position overview
The Campus Environment Division seeks to engage a Campus Operations Manager to enhance business processes and support exceptional property service delivery. The Campus Operations Manager reports to the Associate Director Operations and is a key member of the leadership group within the Operations Portfolio. The Campus Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic operational management of a large client services team responsible for client/tenant FM services, management of soft FM delivery including contract management of vendors and helpdesk services and administration. The role will also require a close working relationship with the Maintenance Manager in the delivery of landlord type statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance.
The Campus Operations Manager will need to demonstrate experience in managing a large portfolio requiring a strong systems background. With the division embarking on a complete revamp of its Facilities Management System (FMS), the Campus Operations Manager will take a key role as the custodian of FMS maintenance data, providing data driven recommendations to facilities executive as it carves its path to a leader in the facilities management space across the University sector.
To be successful in this position you will have extensive experience managing and leading delivery of similar services across a large and diverse portfolio and a proven
track record of leading staff and contractors. Exceptional stakeholder management, systems and data analysis skills will accompany this. Key aspects of the role include: leadership, customer service, data analysis, work health and safety, risk management, financial management and compliance.
