Salary package: $98,387 - $113,252 per annum (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation

The Position
The Business Coordinator will provide high level administrative, financial, and operational support to the RCS Manager and RCS Head. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of RCS business, contractual and financial matters, including monitoring income and expenditure in RCS accounts, developing operational budgets, managing contracts and associated requirements and liaising with College and University level teams on administrative and business matters.
School/Department
The rural medicine program within the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, Medicinae ac Chirurgiae Doctoranda (MChD) degree provides access to medical education for selected students across a range of rural locations, and rural learning experiences for all students in the ANU MChD program. The Rural Clinical School (RCS) is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability & Ageing under the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training Program. The RCS delivers the ANU rural medicine program in six NSW rural locations, providing medical students with rural education, training and placement opportunities. By providing positive rural experiences, the RCS aims to encourage medical students to pursue a career in rural clinical practice and foster respect for rural medicine among medical graduates. The RCS also provides support to local communities, health services and health professionals working in these communities.
The College/Division
The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the following disciplines: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Physics, Medicine and Psychology, and Medical Research. It is also home to various cross-disciplinary and specialist institutes and centres. Staff and students within the ANU College of Science and Medicine conduct research and deliver research-led education programs spanning the entire breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and world-class facilities.
