Position overview
The Teaching Support and Recognition Officer plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching) portfolio. This position provides general administrative support, liaising with staff and students, and offering advice on a wide range of learning and teaching matters to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
A primary focus of the role is the administration and management of the platforms which support micro-credential and executive short courses, including maintaining and updating the website, coordinating events, and contributing to projects that enhance learning and teaching. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, data, and people in a dynamic and innovative environment.
We welcome applications from self-motivated and highly organised professionals with experience in systems, data analytics, event coordination and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be personable and capable of delivering outstanding customer service, with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. They will bring confidence in working with data and digital tools, and a collaborative approach to supporting a wide range of stakeholders. A commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence is essential, along with excellent organisational skills and a proactive mindset. Experience in event coordination and project support is highly desirable.
