The Australian National University is seeking a highly experienced leader to join ANU as its Chief Marketing and Communications Officer to lead one of the nation’s well-known brands and top Universities.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and a pivotal member of the COO’s senior leadership the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer will play a crucial role in advancing the University’s strategic objectives through innovative marketing and communications initiatives. The Marketing and Communications Division is dedicated to enhancing the University’s brand, reputation, and influence, while driving student recruitment and fostering research collaboration. 

The Chief Marketing and Communications Officer works with close collaboration with the Vice-Chancellor, ANU Executive team, the Strategic Leadership Group, and the Directors across the University. This position works directly with the Pro Vice-Chancellor (International and Future Students) to enhance the University’s global engagement and support student recruitment initiatives.

This role is a unique opportunity for an outstanding leader with exceptional experience in implementing impactful marketing and communication strategies that align with organisational goals, driving engagement, nurturing a culture of innovation, and enhancing the brand and reputation.
