The Position

The position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Vice-President (Advancement), including managing executive workflows such as diary and inbox management, triaging and logging requests for action, and coordinating timely responses. The Executive Officer works closely with the local administrative team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality support to senior leadership and the portfolio.

The Executive Officer supports the Advancement portfolio’s planning framework and business operations, ensuring coordination and alignment across activities. The role develops and maintains strong working relationships across the University and with senior internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners and other relevant bodies.

This position reports to the Head of Engagement and Operations (Advancement) and provides high-level executive support to the Vice-President (Advancement), enabling the effective delivery of strategic priorities and the smooth functioning of the Office of the Vice-President (Advancement).

The Person

The Executive Officer provides high-level executive support, high-level strategic advice and information, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of Advancement operations and mission. This is a key position within the Office of the Vice-President (Advancement) (OVPA) and provides support in planning, office and portfolio business operations, risk mitigation and advisory functions within the OVPA. This position supports the provision of high-level executive support to the Vice-President (Advancement) and Advancement Executive, and works closely with the offices of the University Executive and College leadership, as well as key internal and external stakeholders]
