Salary package: $89,760 - $105,459 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position
The Desktop Support Officer provides onsite IT support to staff and students across the University, resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues while delivering a high standard of customer service. The role works closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to support teaching, research and administrative activities.
The Person
The Desktop Support Officer at ANU is a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and helping others. You have a proactive approach to support, strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You are adaptable, organised and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
You thrive in a hands-on, campus-based role and enjoy working across a dynamic and diverse environment. The position involves regular movement between buildings and locations across the University, making it well suited to someone who enjoys being active, engaging with people face-to-face, and delivering support directly to end users.
About Us
The Desktop Support team sits within the Service Delivery function of Information Technology Services (ITS) and provides frontline IT support to staff and students across the Australian National University. As the face of IT across the University, the team delivers onsite technical support, manages desktop computing environments, and ensures the reliable operation of end-user technology that underpins teaching, research and administrative activities.
Working across a diverse campus environment, the team supports a broad range of technologies and collaborates closely with other ITS teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused IT services.
