Classification: ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration)
Salary package: $93,646 - $107,795 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Continuing (Multiple roles available)
Position Overview
As a Work Health and Safety Consultant, you will assist with promoting best practice in a wide range of hazard management, facilitates change, and also support with planning and project management. If you have a strong focus on effective implementation of the University WHS Management System to ensure injuries are prevented and the WHS Management System meets or exceeds the National Self Insurers WHS Framework requirements. Working within a team of professionals you will also provide advice to facilitate implementation of the WHS management system.
The Person
If you have exceptionally strong people skills and have experience with the implementation of safety management systems, we encourage you to apply. Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety and/or an equivalent level of demonstrated experience in administering a WHS Management System are also required.
Our team promotes and contributes to the University's safety culture and is an advocate for continuous learning and professional development. For this reason, we will provide mentoring and support to those people wanting to adapt their existing skills to the exciting world of higher education.
