Salary package: $98,387 - $113,252 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: 2x Full-time, Continuing
The Position
This position is within the newly established ANU Government and Law Hub and plays a key role in the development, administration, and delivery of professional development and student engagement programs with a focus on delivering Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs. The role supports a broad range of WIL stakeholders and coordinates all aspects of student internships, work experience and industry placements to prepare students to be effective professionals in their chosen discipline. Additionally, the position collaborates closely with industry partners and raising awareness of ANU WIL opportunities to a broad stakeholder audience; students, alumni, academics, government representatives, industry professionals and the wider community.
The Person
We are seeking a motivated individual with strong communication and administrator skills, ready to work in a highly collaborative team and dynamic environment. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, confident in your ability to interact and connect directly with a broad range of stakeholders, able to provide advice and engage effectively across multiple channels. Your strong time management skills, and a proven track record working within complex environments, combined with outstanding verbal, written and visual communication will be key to building respectful, collaborative, and productive relationships with existing and new stakeholders.
The Department
The Careers and Employability team sits within the Learning and Teaching portfolio in the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education). The team delivers strategic, student centred programs and services that support career development, work integrated learning and professional skill building across the student lifecycle. Their work aims to prepare students and recent graduates to be confident, capable and competitive in a rapidly changing employment market.
The Division
The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) leads strategic initiatives to enhance teaching quality, learning innovation and student experience across ANU. The Learning and Teaching portfolio supports staff capability, curriculum enhancement, and the delivery of exceptional, future focused educational experiences for all ANU students.
