Salary package: $118,399 - $126,607 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Term: 2x Full-time, Continuing roles. 1x Full-time Fixed-Term role (until 14/03/2026)

Position overview

The ANU College of Business and Economics (CBE) invites applications for up to three School Manager roles - Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics (RSFAS) and Research School of Economics (RSE) on a full-time, continuing basis and Research School of Management on fixed-term basis until 14 March 2026. The College’s School Managers are responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of strategic plans, contributing to maximising the School’s performance in terms of staff and students and supporting the leadership of the College General Manager in establishing a common College culture and approach to administration.

The Person
We are looking for;

  • A strategic thinker, with a track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • A problem-solver, able to retrieve and analyse data from multiple sources.
  • A collaborative team member with proven expertise in leading an administrative team and able to coach and mentor staff.
  • An effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in the preparation of briefings and other reports.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the contemporary challenges facing the higher education sector.
