Position overview

The Research Support Officer provides professional administrative support to the University’s Research Funding team.  This role does not undertake research, but instead focuses on delivering accurate, timely and high-quality advice and administrative services.

Working as part of a professional services team, the Research Support Officer provides critical administrative and operational support to the University’s academic community.  This includes responding to enquiries, assisting with funding opportunity distribution, coordinating application processes, supporting budget preparation, and undertaking compliance and eligibility checks.  The role also facilities peer review processes and provides administrative feedback to applicants.
