About Us

You will be part of the Planetary Health Equity Hothouse, an initiative supported by an ARC Laureate Fellowship on governance for planetary health equity, based in the ANU School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet). The Hothouse integrates health, social equity and climate change agendas through the lens of planetary health equity. We examine the political economy of the global consumptogenic system, study the interests, ideas, and institutions involved in governing planetary health equity, and identify innovative governance approaches to enable the development of intersectoral policy and business practices that advance planetary health equity. Ultimately, the Hothouse aims to inform action to address the political, commercial and social determinants of planetary health equity.

The ANU College of Law, Governance and Public Policy (CLGP) is a progressive and newly established College that brings together four world-leading academic schools dedicated to shaping the future of law, governance, regulation, policy and population health. As part of Australia’s leading university, the College fosters excellence in research, teaching, and engagement, driving impactful contributions to national and global challenges.

The College provides an intellectually rich community, committed to providing a collaborative and supportive environment for academics, students, and professionals to thrive.

The School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) is a dynamic community of scholars from different disciplines united by our interest in regulation and governance. For the last 20 years, RegNet has focused on improving the governance of major social, environmental, economic, and health issues by developing new ways of understanding and responding to these complex problems. The school is known for its paradigm-shifting conceptualizations of regulation and governance as well as its collegial and interdisciplinary approach to knowledge production and dissemination.
