Salary package: $115,739 - $131,227 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, Fixed term (up to 22 months)
Position Overview
This Research Fellow will undertake the core research required by project that Dr Danlu Guo leads on ‘An evidence-based, adaptive framework to inform ongoing river salinity risk assessment and management in the NSW Murray-Darling Basin’ (funded by ANU Hilda John project) and assist with project logistics and liaison with the ANU research team and external stakeholders of the project (e.g., NSW DCCEEW). The Research Fellow will develop and undertake independent high-impact research in the area of surface water hydrology and water quality focusing on impacts of bushfire and extreme events, with a view to publishing original and innovative results in refereed journals, present research at academic seminars and at national and international conferences and collaborate with other researchers at a national level. The Research Fellow will also involve in professional activities including, subject to availability of funds, and attend conferences and seminars in the field of expertise.
