The ANU Community Music Centre is seeking an energetic, team-player to guide our community outreach programs. The Convenor role includes delivering music programs for both children and adults as well as shaping future School of Music outreach programs.
To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm across a wide-range of music genres.
The Convenor of the Community Music Centre oversees the management and provides musical direction to a range of outreach programs funded by artsACT. The successful candidate will require a sound working knowledge of classical, jazz and contemporary music, as well as the ability to support music production, recording techniques, theory, aural skills and composition in a community context.
The Australian National University offers Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Programs in Music, and engages in pure and applied research in Music with strong professional outcomes.
The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU.
