Position overview

The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the disciplines of: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Physics, and Medicine and is also home to a number of cross-disciplinary and specialist Institutes and Centres. The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) is a leading centre of biomedical research in Australia with research programs addressing fundamental problems of significance to human disease. Within this environment, the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation (SDCRI) aspires to drive impactful discoveries and innovations in RNA science to harness the next generation of RNA-based therapeutics and diagnostics, train and foster the future RNA research workforce, and mobilise this workforce and RNA discoveries to areas of strategic health and economic importance to the region and nation.

The Computational RNA Biology Research Officer will provide bioinformatics support to a range of research activities in the RNA Biology Group at the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation.
