Salary package: $83,351 - $90,926 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed term (up to 18 months)
Position overview
Working closely with IT change managers and project teams, the Communications Officer provides comprehensive digital communication support to ensure the effective roll-out and implementation of a wide range of IT projects across the wider ANU community.
The Communications Officer is responsible for delivering day-to-day generalist advice and services on a wide range of communication matters, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and timely escalation of complex issues. The role also contributes to the planning and execution of strategic engagement activities by producing timely, audience-focused communication materials including PowerPoint presentations, web and social media content, multimedia assets, and written stories in line with the ANU brand identity.
Information Technology Services (ITS) provides corporate IT services to ANU staff, students, and visitors in support of achieving excellence in research, learning, and teaching. These services include network, communications, computing platforms, data storage, desktop and mobile access, enterprise systems, student learning environments, and IT security. Our work is coordinated with services provided within and by ANU Colleges and other Service Divisions to form a cohesive University-wide information services infrastructure.
