This position is continuing (contingent funded). The funding that supports this project has an expected end date of 31 December 2027.

Position Overview

The key role is to perform original cutting-edge research in the field of experimental quantum nanophotonics with optical metasurfaces. The project work will involve both experimental investigations and theoretical modelling, with a view to obtain and publish original and innovative results in leading refereed journals, present research at academic seminars and at national and international conferences, and collaborate with other researchers within TMOS and beyond.

This position will be based at the Research School of Physics, ANU, accountable to Prof. Andrey Sukhorukov and Director of the School.

The Person

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher with an interest and capacity to perform cutting-edge experimental and theoretical investigations in the areas of quantum optics, nanophotonics, and metasurfaces.

We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are also important.
