Salary package: $124,392 - $133,017 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position overview
The People and Culture Division is seeking an experienced professional to lead a project that strengthens WHS data, systems, reporting and governance across the University. Working with stakeholders across Safety and Wellbeing, local areas, ITS and external providers, the role will improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, enhance system effectiveness, and support evidence-based decision-making to drive WHS compliance, accountability and continuous improvement.
The position reports to a Manager, Safety and Wellbeing, operates under broad direction. It does not have direct reports, but may lead project working groups, coordinate contributions from WHS consultants and local area subject matter experts and provide technical direction on project deliverables.
The role works closely with Safety and Wellbeing leaders and consultants, WHS Committees and subcommittees, local area leaders and managers, school and college representatives, technical specialists, data and digital teams, procurement/contract stakeholders and external vendors. The role also liaises with auditors, consultants, regulators and other universities or agencies where required.
The position is a senior enabling role. It must balance strategic uplift with practical implementation, bringing stakeholders on the journey while ensuring that WHS reporting, evidence and assurance expectations are clear, consistent and defensible.
