Salary package: $118,399 - $126,607 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position overview
Information Technology Services (ITS) provides corporate IT services to ANU staff, students and visitors in support of achieving excellence in research, teaching and public policy. These services include network, communications, computing platforms, data storage, desktop and mobile access, enterprise systems, student learning environments, and IT security. The work of ITS is coordinated with services provided within and by University Colleges and other Service Divisions to form a cohesive, University-wide information services infrastructure.
The Senior Learning Technologist plays a vital role in the strategic development and implementation of digital learning initiatives across the University. The position provides expert advice, leads digital learning projects, and supports academic and professional staff in effectively using educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, pedagogical knowledge, and communication skills to drive innovation and advance the University’s strategic goals. Working under broad direction, the Senior Learning Technologist will coordinate responsive and expert advice on the University’s virtual and physical learning environments, ensuring enquiries are resolved in line with policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the enhancement of the digital learning ecosystem, identifying areas for improvement, delivering training and resources, supporting staff adoption of technologies, and maintaining project documentation. The position also involves building digital capability across teams and fostering continuous improvement in learning and teaching practices.
