Salary package: $115,511-$123,519 per annum plus 17% superannuation

About Us
The Corporate Governance and Risk Office (CGRO) is responsible for managing the governance functions of the University. It provides procedural advice and support to the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor and the ANU Council, Council Committees, and the Academic Board. CGRO also manages key governance frameworks including policy, delegations and legislation.
Position overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified administrator, looking for a chance to perform a pivotal role managing key governance frameworks at one of Australia's leading Universities.
The Senior Governance Officer will provide effective and proactive support for University governance and compliance mechanisms, including in the development, facilitation and administration of business improvements.
The role will work as part of a small team of specialist staff under the University Secretary, providing advice to stakeholders across the University and effectively communicating with members of the University Executive, Council Committees and other internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant qualifications and extensive experience in the management of governance frameworks. You will be highly organised, have highly developed writing skills, possess an exceptional eye for detail and be able to communicate complex and detailed information in a simple and concise manner. You will have effective partnership skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including governance colleagues and senior leaders.
