Position overview

The Senior Energy Engineer (ESD Engineer) will focus on reducing the Universities energy consumption and costs through tuning and projects.

Senior Energy Engineer (ESD Engineer) will initiate, plan, manage and execute a range of design projects while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of building services engineers. You will partner closely with in-house stakeholders across project management, procurement, sustainability, maintenance and commercial services. The position provides the opportunity to influence and shape a diverse portfolio of building types, including laboratories, offices, teaching spaces, data centres, venues and retail facilities. The role also offers generous leave benefits as outlined in the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

The mission of Campus Environment Division is to "Enable academic excellence at ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery." Our portfolios- Operations, Infrastructure and Planning, Corporate, Sustainability, and University House- are integral in delivering on our commitments with a dedication to our mission and values.

The technical team sits within Infrastructure and Planning and provides in house engineering services to a broad range of internal stakeholders. These services include feasibility, analysis, planning, design, procurement, design management, project management and tuning.
