Salary package: $87,135 - $134,507 per annum plus 17%

The Postdoctoral Fellow will work on an exciting project in the laboratory of Professor Si Ming Man at the John Curtin School of Medical Research. The Postdoctoral Fellow will study the mechanisms regulating innate immune recognition of pathogens, and how pattern-recognition receptors shape the overall immune response to infection. This fellow will also have an opportunity to study the molecular basis by which uncontrolled inflammation leads to the development of cancer. If you hold a PhD in immunology, microbiology, biochemical, molecular biology or a related biomedical discipline, have evidence of your enthusiasm and productivity, and have experience with some or all of the following:
Immunoblotting, PCR, cloning, transfection, cell culture, bacterial and viral culture, and mouse handling.
