Salary package: $159,145 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position

The Senior Advisor is a key strategic position within the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), providing high-level strategic support, advice and coordination across a broad portfolio of education services, including student services, learning and teaching, student recruitment, global engagement and academic quality.

Working closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education), the Director, Education Portfolio and Provost Office, and colleagues across the University, the Senior Advisor will support executive decision-making and coordinate complex and fast-moving matters to help deliver the University's strategic and operational education priorities.

The position will also lead a small team of executive support staff and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the University.

The Person

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience providing high-level strategic and operational advice in a complex organisation. They will have strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and provide clear, considered advice to senior executives.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership and sound judgement, with the ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and effectively lead and support a small team.

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) supports the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) in providing strategic leadership across the University's education portfolio. The Office works across areas including learning and teaching, student services, student recruitment, global engagement and academic quality.

The College/Division

The Education portfolio works across the University to support the delivery of high-quality education and student outcomes and to advance the University's strategic education priorities.
