Salary package: $95,987 - $110,489 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed term (up to 12 months)
The Position
The Reporting Solutions Analyst is responsible for developing and enhancing reporting functionalities across systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft, Power BI, and Concur. Key tasks include building fluid user interfaces, improving dashboard capabilities, and ensuring accurate financial data reporting. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams to assess reporting needs and optimise data integration. Additionally, the analyst will drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and staying current with industry trends in analytics and reporting.
The Person
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional with a background in Business, Information Systems, or Finance, and experience in business analysis and reporting—preferably in a university setting. They should be skilled in SQL, Power BI, and systems like Oracle PeopleSoft and TM1, with a strong ability to develop complex dashboards and user interfaces. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver insights from complex data. This person thrives in collaborative environments, adapts quickly to new technologies, and demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
The College/Division
The Financial Systems and Transformation team within the Finance and Business Services (F&BS) division leads the transformation of the finance function through IT developments, process optimisation and automation, to enhance service delivery and achieve efficiencies. F&BS is dedicated to the continuous improvement of corporate financial management, administration, reporting, and business services, including procurement.
