Salary package: $87,570 - $95,530 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Continuing  

The Position

The Operations Officer works under the direction of the Head of Operations but will support and work closely with all staff within the Residential Experience Division. The Operations Officer undertakes a broad range of administrative tasks relating to day-to-day activities, acting as a first point of contact for the operations team and providing support to a variety of stakeholders including staff, students and visitors, working in partnership with team members and with colleagues in Central Services.

The right person for the Operations Officer role will be;

  • A confident administrator in complex work environments
  • Have a solid understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and how they are applied day to day in a University context.
  • Understand procurement activities and have experience in supporting teams in achieving best procurement outcomes.
  • Have supported a variety of different projects and lead them as well.
  • Works well as part of a fast paced and reactive team, while being able to demonstrate independence for specific tasks and projects.
