Salary package: $81,381 - $95,541 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-time, Continuing (contingent funded), (funded until 30 June 2026)

The Position
The successful candidate will become a member of the Department of Materials Physics within the Research School of Physics. The Department hosts the heavily industry engaged and commercially active X-ray Tomography Group. The Mechatronic Engineer will provide design, development, validation and maintenance support for technical projects and activities in the X-ray Tomography Group.

The Person
We are looking for a strong team player with qualifications and/or experience in Engineering, particularly in complex instrument or mechatronic systems design. Hands-on experience in building and testing complex systems, with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders are key.
