Position Overview

The Integrity Assessment Officer reports to the Manager of the Integrity Office  and works as part of the team within the Legal, Governance and Risk Office. The position supports the day-to-day operation of the University’s central integrity and complaints oversight function, applying judgement within established frameworks to record, assess, triage, refer and monitor integrity and complaint matters.
 
The role works closely with the Manager and liaises with complainants and Case Contact Officers across the University, including in Human Resources, Student Conduct and Appeals, Research Integrity, Legal, Governance and Risk, Colleges and Service Divisions, and other relevant areas. The position supports coordination across multiple policy and operational areas by following up on case progression, maintaining accurate records, escalating issues or delays as appropriate, and assisting with reporting and data quality activities.
 
The Integrity Assessment Officer does not duplicate formal investigative or decision-making responsibilities held within existing frameworks, functional areas or by existing delegates, but supports the Integrity Office’s central oversight, coordination and monitoring role.

The ideal Candidate will have experience demonstrating outreach, assurance and data focus, and an ability to work closely with stakeholders and their teams, including Human Resources, Student Conduct and Appeals, Research Integrity, Legal, Governance and Risk, and Information Technology, as well as Colleges and Service Divisions and the Chief Planning, Data and Analysis Officer.
