Classification: Postdoctoral/Research Fellow (Academic Level A/B)
Salary package: $89,313 - $137,870 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time, Fixed Term (up to March 2028).
The Position
The Postdoctoral/Research Fellow will contribute to the academic activities relating to two national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth wellbeing projects. Supporting the Lead Investigator, the appointment will contribute to planning and undertaking field work and the development of methodological and analytical frameworks, contribute to the production of outputs, (co) present the research in various forums, engage with community partners and stakeholder, assist with generating ethics applications, and contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
The Person
The preferred candidate will be well-organised, efficient, culturally sensitive and able to liaise effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and non-Indigenous clients. They will report to a Senior Academic and be highly responsive and supportive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous academics and professional staff in the Centre. They will work well with other staff in the Centre, the College and other areas of the University, including members of the public and external stakeholders.
