The Australian National University (ANU) College of Law, Governance and Policy is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our executive team.
The College of Law, Governance and Policy brings together key areas of expertise in legal studies, public policy, health, public administration, governance, and related disciplines. It comprises four Schools and other academic and research units focused on shaping and informing law, policy, health and governance at national and global levels.
The General Manager plays a critical leadership role, providing strategic and operational direction to support the College’s academic mission. In close partnership with the Dean, the General Manager ensures the effective delivery of the College’s teaching, research support, and engagement priorities through high-quality business and professional services.
The role is accountable for the implementation of operational plans, sound financial and resource management, and the delivery of efficient and responsive services across all professional staff functions. The General Manager also acts as a key representative of the College within the University and with external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in managing financial, human, and physical resources; a strong track record of working collaboratively to deliver strategic outcomes in complex environments; and demonstrated leadership in building and guiding high-performing teams.
