Salary package: $169,358 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Director, Business Partnering leads the transformation of the financial business partnering model, ensuring consistent, high‑quality financial services across Colleges and Portfolios. The role drives the design and implementation of best‑practice finance processes, strengthens capability within Business Partnering teams, and provides strategic financial leadership aligned with the University’s goals. Working closely with the Deputy CFO and senior stakeholders, the position ensures streamlined financial advice, robust reporting, and effective support for decision‑making across the institution.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant postgraduate qualifications with CA or CPA membership and bring extensive experience in financial management within a complex environment. They will demonstrate strong strategic advisory capability, advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, and proven success leading teams through change. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship‑building skills are essential, along with proficiency in financial systems and a commitment to equity, safety and high‑quality service delivery.
