The Position
The Manager Business Development and Strategy is a senior strategic role within the Office of the Chief Campus Environment Officer, responsible for leading priority strategic and operational projects across Campus Environment. The role provides high-level advice, research and analysis, supports business planning and works closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the University to deliver projects and embed outcomes into ongoing operations.
The Person
You will bring significant experience in business development, strategy or strategic project delivery within a complex organisation, supported by relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience. You will be a confident and collaborative leader with strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills, demonstrated people management capability, and the ability to build trusted relationships, influence senior stakeholders and deliver high-quality outcomes across competing priorities.
The Division
Campus Environment enables world-class, safe, sustainable and inclusive campus environments across ANU. The Division is responsible for a broad range of services, including major construction and infrastructure, security and cleaning, commercial leasing, venues and accommodation, safety and compliance, and environmental sustainability. Its Operations, Commercial Planning and Strategy, and University House portfolios work together to support the University’s strategic and operational priorities.
