Salary package:$100,847 - $116,083 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position
The Australian and New Zealand International Scientific Drilling Consortium (ANZIC) manages researcher access to billion-dollar international research infrastructure for collecting sub-seafloor and sub-surface samples of sediment, rocks, fluids and microbes throughout the world’s oceans and across the continents. This is achieved through managing participation in two international scientific collaborations – the International Ocean Drilling Programme (IODP3) and the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP).

The ANZIC Co-ordinator is also responsible for the effective administration of ANZIC and monitoring and reporting of ANZIC finances.
The Person
To excel in this role you will have a strong track record of providing high level advice on a wide range of policies and procedures, implementing strategic initiatives, financial administration, committee support, event coordination, grant management, and drafting communications and general correspondence with a range of stakeholders.

The ANZIC Coordinator will be a member of the Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES), Australia’s leading academic research institution for Earth and Marine Sciences, and ranked 20th in the world for Earth and Marine Sciences (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026). The College
