Salary package: $138,182 - $144,783 per annum plus 17% superannuation

This position is continuing (contingent funded). The funding that supports this project has an expected end date of December 2028

The Research School of Physics represents Australia's largest university based research and teaching activity in the physics discipline. Position overview

The position will play a crucial role in liaising with internal and external users of the facilities. The role will coordinate and implement technical, financial, human resources and physical resources for the ANFF ACT Node. The Manager, ANFF will also be responsible for supervising a team of professional and technical officers.

 

The Person

To be considered to this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong background and extensive experience in cleanroom operations including a high-level experience and commitment to Work Health and Safety processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in scientific/technical management, including research infrastructure management, project planning, strategic business planning to grow enterprise, costing, coordination and reporting.
  • Experience in providing leadership, supervision and mentoring to a small team of technical staff, including ability to use initiative and apply sound judgement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
