Technical Officer

Classification: ANU Officer Grade 4/5 (Technical)
Salary package: $73,650- $ 88,709 (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation
Term: Part time (up to 21 hours per week), Fixed term (up to 16 months) 

Located within the School of Art & Design (SoA&D), the Technical Officer provides technical support for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of the facilities and associated equipment of the School. 

Position overview

The Technical Officer will work under the general direction of the Technical Services Team Coordinator and liaise closely with the SoA&D Technical Services Team, the SoA&D WHS Consultant, and the School Manager, for the safe delivery of teaching, research, and engagement activities and the maintenance of associated equipment and facilities of the School, to ensure that all operations meet legislative and University requirements. The position will work closely with academic and professional staff, students, visitors, and external collaborators. Applicants must be technically proficient in the processes of two or more disciplines with experience in textiles and printmaking. 

The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU.
