Position overview

The Student Life Officer, Student Communication and Events (SCE) works as part of a dedicated student-facing team responsible for ensuring the high-quality promotion, delivery and implementation of programs related to orientation, transition, and co-curricular enrichment for domestic and international students. 

Reporting to the Deputy Manager, Student Communication and Events, the Student Life Officer, SCE works closely with staff across the University Experience portfolio on projects and events designed to enhance the student experience of orientation, transition and co-curricular activities for all student cohorts; supports student safety and wellbeing; contributes to the evaluation of programs; promotes portfolio activities; engages with stakeholders; and, as needed, supervises student leaders.
