The Position

The Senior Manager (Operations) will lead the execution of the Centre for Personalised Medicine (CPM) Business Plan, driving strategic objectives and delivering key milestones. As CPM is a partnership initiative, the role will bring together multiple existing and emerging program components into a cohesive, high-performing Centre, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Senior Manager will cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration, gather insights, and shape new research opportunities. They will oversee a team of technicians and researchers, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with grant requirements, and adherence to governance obligations.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in conceptualising, leading and delivering complex research programs from start-up through to completion, while meeting milestones and managing budgets effectively. They will possess exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams of managers and technical staff and foster productive relationships with academic and professional colleagues, as well as external partners. Extensive experience managing multi-stakeholder partnerships across academia, industry and government is essential.
