Salary package: $129,049 - $163,808 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position

We are seeking to appoint outstanding academic leader with a proven track record who will play a leading role in all aspects of research and teaching, including setting research and teaching agendas, ensuring ongoing funding, promoting the graduate student program, and driving a strong impact and innovation culture.

Candidates in all fields of astronomy and astrophysics will be considered on their merits, with the primary criterion for selection being academic excellence.

The Person

To excel in this role, you will have a PhD in a relevant area, outstanding track record of independent research and a compelling vision for your research at the ANU in alignment with RSAA research and ANU 2025 strategic plan. You will have an excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and high-level understanding of and commitment to the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity and access in a University context.
