Senior Finance Officer

Classification: ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration)
Salary package: $100,847 - $116,083 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full-time, Fixed term (24 months)

The Position

The Senior Finance Officer, provides comprehensive, high-level support in a diverse range of financial operations including, preparing monthly management reports, and dashboards, planning and managing budgets and managing the grant acquittal process for externally funded grants. The role also provides robust advice on a wide range of the University finance-related policies, procedures and initiatives supporting achievement of the College and University’s strategic goals.

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative finance professional with strong problem-solving and analytical skills to provide high-quality financial management and business partnering support. The successful candidate will have experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering insightful financial analysis to support informed decision-making. You will build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, provide customer-focused service, and work closely with colleagues to achieve shared objectives. Experience in project budgeting and forecasting will be highly regarded. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are essential for success in this role.
