Classification: Academic Level C
Salary package: $129,049 – 143,433 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed Term (Up to 5 years)

The Role

This is an Identified Position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only.
Academics of Practice are distinguished professionals with a non-traditional academic background who promote the integration of academic scholarship with practical experience through teaching courses, advising students, and collaborating in areas directly related to their expertise and experience.
This is a highly selective identified appointment available to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples who have successfully demonstrated specialist expertise in Senior Executive Service (SES) leadership and management within the Australian Public Service.
We want to increase opportunities for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples by increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student access, participation and success in training and education programs.
