About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering digital transformation initiatives aligned with the ANU Digital Master Plan and ANU Strategy. You will work within one or more value streams to investigate, define, and drive effective solutions to meet the University’s complex and evolving needs.  This role will support and assist with the delivery of the Digital Master Plan, focusing on the delivery of our Research program.  

You will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to identify, analyse and document business requirements and use cases.
  • Lead discovery and ideation workshops to shape innovative solutions
  • Support program teams from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment to business goals
  • Contribute to shaping a consistent business analysis practice through the Analysis Chapter

Your ability to engage stakeholders, uncover insights, and articulate needs into deliverable outcomes will be central to your success in this role.

About You

You are a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with demonstrated experience delivering results in complex, agile environments. You thrive in collaborative settings and are adept at engaging with diverse user groups, technical teams and senior leaders.

You have:

  • Extensive experience in business process design, requirements gathering and service improvement
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Knowledge of both Agile and traditional delivery frameworks
  • The ability to operate strategically while managing detail-oriented deliverables

Experience within higher education or research environments will be highly regarded.
