Salary package: $112,916 - $128,026 per annum plus 17% Superannuation
Terms: Full-time, continuing (contingent funded) (funded for 2 years)
Position overview
The School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) is hiring a Level B Research Fellow, Public Policy, to work with senior academic staff across the ANU to design and deliver major evaluations of policies and programs.
Appointees are expected to have expertise in quantitative evaluation methodologies and experience and/or demonstrated interest working with governments and the not-for-profit sector on the design, delivery, and evaluation of policies and programs. Appointees are expected to have a demonstrated track record in research excellence, including a record of publication in relevant journals and presses and/or reports for government.
Appointees are expected to contribute to the school’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching program. We expect the appointees to be active in professional service within ANU and in the impact evaluation community, as well as to undertake outreach to the broader community.
The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU. The College, which is structured into two main research schools, offers degrees in more than 20 discipline areas and excels in research across the creative arts, humanities and social sciences. The College has a substantial international research presence and is a major source of national policy advice. Our academic staff are internationally recognised for their research, and 57 are members of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, the Academy of the Social Sciences of Australia, or both. We also host 13 Australian Research Council Future Fellows and three ARC Laureates. A hub of vibrant activity, we host more than 270 lectures, concerts and exhibitions each year, most of which are open to the public.
