Position Overview
This post-doc represents an exciting collaboration between ANU and the Australian government, focussing on using cutting-edge technology and technological advancements to better understand personality in an online environment. Specifically, this role will seek to develop and validate personality measures across diverse global populations, with particular focus on the HEXACO model and Schwartz's values theory. You will collect and work with large-scale international datasets while ensuring that personality frameworks are grounded in psychometrically sound and culturally appropriate measurement models. This will require working with data collection platforms, translation / adaptation services, and closely with a fellow post-doctoral candidate with a computer science background.
Working in partnership with the Australian government, you will have the ability to liaise with international partners and academic institutions. This will include regular meetings and presentations to update the partners on the project’s progress.
You will also be encouraged to work on additional projects that complement the main body of research, integrate within existing research labs, and develop teaching and science communication skills.
