Salary package: $112,916 - $128,026 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position
This is a key role in a transdisciplinary project “Frameworks to Support Trade in Embedded Carbon Products”. This is the flagship project within the Market Activation Theme of the Australian Research Council-supported Industrial Transition Research Hub on Carbon Recycling and Utilization (ReCarb Hub). The successful candidate will undertake collaborative research as part of an interdisciplinary team spanning the ANU and Monash University, as well as industry partners in some of Australia's leading companies. The candidate will be expected to lead the delivery of both academic and industry-focussed research outputs, as well as coordinate collaboration and input from partners.
The Person
We are looking for a team member with a track record of research excellence and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in transdisciplinary teams, including working effectively with external partners. The successful candidate will have a PhD in law, regulation, policy or economics and expertise in trade-related climate policy and/or Green Industrial Policy will be highly valued. Strong understanding of the potential role and design issues related to embedded emissions accounting frameworks is desirable.
