Classification: ANU Officer Officer 8 (Information Technology)
Salary package: $107,263 – $114,700 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full Time, Fixed Term (Up to 2 years)

The Role

The role of Data Information Systems Specialist will:

• Lead data information systems aspects of the GeoPhysics2030 project
• Develop web-based reporting and automation tools for the management of our extensible research data collections
• Evaluate and improve the quality, integration and harmonisation of data information systems
• Contribute to user communications, reporting and training
• Maintain currency with data management information system advances

Skills and Requirements

• Solid software development skills (Python and/or PhP web experience desirable)
• Experience in Linux System Administration preferred (automation with Puppet/Ansible desirable extra)
• Experience with Elastic (ELK) Stack desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Helpful and supportive team member
