Salary package: $86,960- $114,700 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position
Climate, energy and disaster risk are crucial, growing and interconnected issues for Australia and the world. The ANU Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions is seeking an outcomes focussed Program Manager/ Officer, working predominantly on the disaster solutions portfolio. You'll be an integral part of the core Institute team supporting 500+ ANU researchers.
The position contributes to new and proposed research programs and projects, educational and outreach activities focussed on advancing disaster-risk solutions (and working on the other cross-Institute themes of climate and energy). You will build relationships with diverse stakeholders including researchers, government agencies, NGOs, corporates and funding bodies, working closely with other team members at ICEDS including the Head of Climate and Head of Disaster Solutions. It is an opportunity to work towards impact via reducing risks from disasters across Australia and our region, in a diverse team of highly motivated colleagues.
The Person
We are looking for a person with a combination of tertiary / postgraduate qualifications and experience in program and project management, knowledge exchange, stakeholder engagement, research management and / or business development (differing levels of experience are required for applications at Level ANUO8 and Level ANUO 6/7). Knowledge / experience / qualifications working on climate change or disaster-risk related issues will be highly regarded. You will be a strong communicator and collaborator with excellent organisational and relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively self-manage.
